GK-Fast — shop management
A mobile app that brings the till, the catalogue, stock and customer credit together into a tool you can use one-handed, behind a counter — with no internet connection.
The context
In most small shops the till is still a paper notebook: sales are copied out in the evening, stock is counted by eye and customer credit gets lost. Off-the-shelf software assumes a computer, a subscription and a permanent connection — three conditions that are rarely met.
Our answer
We built a fully offline app backed by a local SQLite database: every sale, stock movement and repayment is written to the phone immediately. The interface was drawn for real counter use — large touch targets, checkout in three taps, receipt printing over Bluetooth.
